Abstract:

The task of ensuring the innovative development of the region requires the creation of appropriate structural and institutional conditions. This article analyzes the institutional environment of innovative development of regions and considers its basic institutions. The authors analyze the dependence of the innovation performance of the regional system on the institutional environment of commercialization of innovations. At the same time, it is proposed to calculate the author's index of material and technical support of innovative infrastructure in the regions. The authors also consider the development of institutions in the innovation space of the regions through the concept of "triple helix" and propose a methodology for creating an effective institutional environment for innovative development of the industrial region on the basis of this concept.
