Abstract:

One of the most important tasks, which the modern Russian economy is facing, is the sustainable economic development of industrial production sectors at the regional level. The article substantiates the need to develop the concept of sustainable economic development at the regional level of industrial production sectors. The experience of foreign and Russian scientists on the formation of sustainable economic development of industrial production sectors is analyzed. The method of determining the basic, leading and progressive sectors of industrial production in the region, which is one of the basic elements of the concept of sustainable economic development of industrial production sectors developed by the authors, is given. This technique is based on the analysis of the current state of industrial production sectors, as well as prospects for their development. The scientific and applied significance of the concept of sustainable economic development of industrial production sectors developed by the authors is proved.
