Abstract:

The article is devoted to the issues of gender inequality in the modern Russian labour market. The analysis of the main indicators characterizing the employment of women allowed to identify the main problems in this subject area, as well as to isolate the factors influencing the existence of gender gaps in both the level of employment and its qualitative characteristics. Based on the results of the research, the authors propose the main approaches to the definition of measures aimed at reducing gender disparities in the labour market.
