Abstract:

For a comprehensive cross-country analysis of the factors of scientific-technical and scientific-technological competitive advantages of industry, the article uses the data of the statistical portal of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The task of identifying the competitive scientific and technical advantages of industry can be solved only in a comprehensive manner, based on three levels of analysis (macroeconomic, rarely mesoeconomic (industry markets), and even less often, microeconomic) and using several functional approaches. All factors of competitiveness of the industry in the article are divided into groups: scientific-technical and scientific-technological, depending on the degree of proximity to commercialization of industrial innovations, on factors of the institutional environment and factors of the state support.
