Product quality has become one of the most important factors to consider due to the growing competition in the global market. The article reveals a set of external macroeconomic factors that require adaptation of innovative activity of the enterprise. The article on the basis of the study and generalization of relevant literature systematized the main factors affecting the innovative activity of electrical enterprises, assessed the level of criteria reflecting competitiveness, systematized factors affecting the quality of electrical equipment and devices, identified reserves and identified ways of their rational use, as well as justified the feasibility of the formation of innovative clusters The approach to the choice of rational management decisions to improve the efficiency of innovation for enterprises producing electrical equipment is substantiated.
