The close interconnection of various national economies leads to the growth of ties in the state, social, economic and environmental spheres. The solution of new tasks should be based on the development of innovative potential, which is primarily provided by the development of education. At present, the national and international labor markets have formed a demand for improving the quality of education, requirements for the level of knowledge, competencies and skills have grown, and investment in human capital is expanding. International economic academic mobility and knowledge integration are derived from these processes and in turn accelerate it. The article analyzes the existing needs of the world economy in the field of education, examines government programs and laws on the integration and export of Russian education to the world community, and also identifies the problems facing educational institutions in the field of migration policy. A statistical analysis of the positive experience of integrating Russian education into the world market of educational services is given. Measures that improve the attractiveness of Russian education for foreign students are evaluated; and methods aimed at improving migration policy in the field of education are developed. Migration support of foreign students and the work of international departments of universities is of great importance in this aspect. The authors have proposed methods for improving migration legislation to improve the conditions for the stay of foreign students in the Russian Federation.
