Increase of innovative activity is one of the key factors of growth of competitiveness of the Russian enterprise providing long-term development of the company and achievement of strategic goals and receipt of stable profits for the future. As part of the study, a systematic approach was used in interviewing entrepreneurs in various fields of activity of the Samara region. Enterprises are characterized by a low level of knowledge-intensive products, the predominant number of inventions (more than 70%) is aimed at maintaining or slightly improving existing equipment and technologies. Therefore, the creation of intrapreneurial units in combination with the use of tools for the development of innovative thinking of personnel will allow the company's management to effectively use business processes and achieve strategic goals and stable profits in the future through the formation and use of information and knowledge infrastructure, which is very important for managers who want to strengthen the competitive position of their company in the market.
