Priority sectors of development of the Russian industry are mainly manufacturing. In the context of achieving national goals, there is a need to increase high-value-added products and focus on foreign markets. In the modern world economy, the most difficult direction is the machine tool industry, the development of which is not allocated in priority sectors in the implementation of national projects. The comprehensive development of the machine-tool industry should have the most significant impact on the productivity of the Russian economy, increase its complexity, added value and export potential. Active industrial policy, which is aimed at the development of the domestic machine-tool industry, is one of the factors ensuring breakthrough economic development of the domestic economy.
