The article discusses the features of the implementation of international legal standards of the "single window” for foreign trade in national legislation. The characteristic of the general principles of creation of the national legislation in this sphere defined in recommendations of the UN is given, including: the main questions demanding legal regulation, application of checklists for the analysis of the current legislation, definition of competence of agencies responsible for the organization of "single window" and the principles of interaction with other involved government agencies. The legislation and practice of single window implementation in such countries as Australia and the USA are analyzed. The emphasis is placed on the possibility of different models of legal regulation of "single window" and the presence of common mandatory elements of such regulation. The important role of coordination of relations between the involved government agencies through the conclusion of interagency agreements and memorandums is separately noted.
