Abstract:

In the modern economy, based on world experience, economic security is a guarantee of the country's independence, a condition of permanence and effective life of society. Russia's economic security consists of the economic security of its regions. The Republic of Crimea is one of the unique and strategically important regions of our country. The authors analyzed the theoretical bases of economic security of the region. A comprehensive assessment of economic security on the basis of socio-economic indicators of the Republic of Crimea is presented. It is concluded that the level of economic development of the Peninsula is below the national average. The authors reveal the main threats to the economic security of the Republic of Crimea and propose the main measures to minimize them.
