The article is devoted to the theoretical and applied aspects of the study of the fundamental principles of interaction of organizations with external stakeholders. A critical examination of the stages of relations between organizations and society allowed us to conclude that the next fundamentally different stage, namely corporate citizenship, appeared in the practice of socially-oriented activities of business organizations. The result of a monographic analysis of the methodology of the chosen problem on the basis of detailing the basic principles (openness, relevance, consistency, avoiding conflicts) has been systematized into three groups: general scientific principles (scientific, systematic, comprehensive, objective), special principles related to the phenomenon of social responsibility and corporate citizenship (they are fixed in legislative and normative acts / standards and are based on basic values) and specific people arising from personification her, organizations and their associations, events and phenomena (based on shared values). In the applied part of the work, the implementation of the principles of interaction with external stakeholders is illustrated in the relationship of national and corporate priorities by the example of the fact of corporate citizenship of the Russian airline Siberia (S-7). A fragment of the study on public organizations, the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom and the Gazprom and Lukoil groups, demonstrating the disclosure of various principles of interaction, is given. The conclusion on the continuity of principles and the universality of values, even with high diversity, is drawn.
