Abstract:

In recent years, the issues of employment in the labour market of women with preschool children have become relevant again. The number of women in need of vocational training (retraining) as a tool for professional development and competitiveness in the labour market is growing. These aspects were taken into account in the development of the national project "Demography", part of which was the Federal project "Promotion of women's employment – creation of conditions for preschool education for children under the age of three years". Based on the experience of the Department of labor and employment of the Sverdlovsk region, the article discusses the possible organizational and other risks of implementing measures at the regional level for vocational training and additional vocational education of women during the period of leave to care for a child up to three years. The possible consequences and ways to minimize these risks are shown.
