The article is devoted to the analysis and evaluation of the economic effects of integration processes in the Eurasian space. The authors propose a three-stage scheme for analyzing the level of development of the Eurasian integration association. The first step was to assess the overall indicators of market convergence in the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the conditions for realizing the economies of scale of the EAEU member states. The second stage of the work was an assessment of the openness of the EAEU member states. At the third stage, an evaluation of the competition effect for the EAEU member states was carried out. Conclusions were reached regarding the level and quality of integration processes within the framework of the EAEU. According to the results of the analysis, it was revealed that the constraining factor in the development of an integration association and the realization of integration effects is the different speed character of the implementation of integration processes in different countries. The results obtained by the authors also concluded that, despite the obvious separate successes of the integration of the EAEU countries in the customs sphere, the level of integration of the EAEU countries as a whole is decreasing. In its present format, Eurasian economic integration becomes beneficial only to small countries, which, by gaining access to the sales markets of more economically developed partners, also receive access to new technologies and to the capital market
