Currently, the Russian Federation has a big problem associated with the involvement of talented young professionals in the field of science, high technology and higher education. In modern Russia, the main focus is on creating additional jobs in creative fields and their quotas for young people, as well as on the non-market regulation of the system of scientific grants and foreign internships, where a clear advantage is given not to worthy candidates, but to persons under 35 years of age. The article presents the results of scientific research related to the study of the problems of employment of talented youth from the point of view of key employers and candidates for vacancies. Particular attention is paid to the degree of consistency of the opinions of the two groups of respondents on similar problems that complicate or facilitate the processes of employment and consolidation of young professionals in the field of science, high technology and higher education.
