Abstract:

The article substantiates that the achievement of the goal of accelerating the pace of socio-economic development with compliance of this development with the priority of sustainability stated in the Sustainable development strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018-2040. “Taza Kom.Zhagyi Door” of the Concept of the regional policy of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period 2018-2022, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic of March 31, 2017 No. 194, is possible when the regions of the Republic rely on local resources. The author examines local resources as tangible and intangible factors of strategic socio-economic development of the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic, they are compared with external resources. On the basis of this, prospects for improving the current practice of managing these factors in the interests of systematically achieving the objectives of accelerated and sustainable development of the regions under consideration are determined.
