Abstract:

The subject of the research was the scientific categories "efficiency" and "risk" in the context of the dual nature of their sources, hidden threats and opportunities predetermined by the specifics of the fishing business of the Russian Federation. The study is based on a systematic approach. Within the framework of the system "efficiency-risk" a set of logical chains "type of risk, area of impact, risk factor, efficiency factor" is identified, which provides an integrated approach to the characteristics of the categories under consideration. The presented results are applied and reflect the assessment of the level of efficiency and risk of fishing in the Russian Federation, the characteristics of the factors that determine the risk and reserves of improving the efficiency of the fishing business, as well as the classification of business risks of fishing based on the level of their manifestations and solutions to the problems.
