Abstract:

The article is devoted to the analysis of the development of tourism potential of Iraq. Types of tourism in Iraq are considered. The analysis of the main indicators of the development of tourism potential in the country, such as the number of arrivals of international tourists, income for travel, the total contribution of tourism to the country's GDP, the total contribution of tourism to employment. Identified strengths and weaknesses of the tourism sector and identified prospects for its further development.
