Abstract:

The article presents the results of economic and mathematical modeling of the influence of factors of development of logistics infrastructure on the dynamics of the indicator "foreign trade turnover" in the context of the world. The relevance of this study is due to the need to search for institutional elements that contribute to the development of world trade. The purpose of the work is to identify and quantify the degree of influence of various elements of logistics on the volume of foreign trade turnover of countries. The object of the study was the world trade, the subject was the impact of logistics on world trade. The cross-section on time series was used as the basic model with specification of a number of parameters on panel data models with fixed or random effects. The authors empirically proved the most significant impact of such endogenous factors as the ability to organize transportation at competitive prices, the efficiency of the customs clearance process and the quality of trade and transport infrastructure.
