The article deals with the system of customs services taking into account the technological schemes of cargo handling in the area of sea ports, identified participants in the process of customs services in the area of sea ports. The urgency of the development of customs services and terminal services in the border area, especially in the area of seaports due to the growth of international trade and consumption of imported goods, is defined. The description of activity of participants of the market of customs services from the point of view of change of parameters of the commodity flow moved through sea check points is graphically presented. The list of works carried out during the movement of imported container cargo in the provision of customs services in the area of seaports is made by the method of network planning. In conclusion, the proposals to improve the efficiency of customs services related to technological operations in sea ports are made.
