Abstract:

This article is devoted to the issues of joint film production (co-production). The article presents a brief analysis of co-production development main stages and of co-production potential for the producer. The relevance of joint film production development is currently quite high, as in recent years, in an unfavorable economic situation, all sources of financing of film production in Russia, with the exception of the state, has decreased significantly. The article highlights the special socio-economic conditions of the Russian film industry, current problems and the potential of their solutions in the framework of joint film production.
