The article is devoted to the study of the processes of interaction of demographic and innovative development of the Russian Arctic regions on the basis of the analysis of the implementation of strategic priorities in these areas. Through the content analysis of strategic documents of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation the priorities for the implementation of demographic potential and innovative development of the Arctic regions of the Russian Federation are identified. Completeness and character of interrelation of these priorities in strategies of social and economic development of regions of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation is revealed. On the basis of the developed system of socio-economic indicators characterizing demographic and innovative priorities using the index method, calculations were carried out and the ratio of their implementation in the regions of the Russian Arctic for the period from 2010 to 2017 was analyzed. The conclusion was made that the differentiation of the subjects of the Russian Arctic in terms of the level of implementation of demographic and innovative priorities for the study period was increased, and the main priority areas contributing to or limiting the development of the regions of the Russian Arctic in these areas were identified.
