Abstract:

The article describes the current condition of foreign trade in the Market of Higher Education Services. First five exporting countries are USA, France, UK, Germany, and Australia. They are followed by new export leaders – New Zealand, Japan, China, Republic of South Africa, which strengthen their positions at railway speed. Russia is a “new old player”, demonstrating in recent years an increase of the number of invited foreign students, however, development of education in terms of export requires agreed state initiatives. The author puts forward a hypothesis on changes in alignment of forces in the world market of educational services by 2025 and predicts the prospects of the key market players in conformity with the analysis made.
