The article deals with the issues of innovative development of enterprises of the Republic of Crimea. The authors describe the dynamics of innovative activity of enterprises of the Crimea for the period 2015-2017. On the basis of statistical indicators, the main problems in the field of innovative development of enterprises are identified. To solve the identified problems, it is proposed to implement an innovative strategy for the development of enterprises through diagnostic tools based on the identification of possible risks of external and internal nature, significant factors and criteria for the impact on the innovative development of enterprises in the region. The possibility of a detailed assessment of innovative activity of enterprises of the Crimea will allow to choose the optimal strategy of development with the use of innovations. Also, on the basis of the existing problems, the main priority areas related to the innovation strategy for the development of enterprises in the Republic of Crimea were identified.
