Abstract:

The article considers the innovative activity of the subjects of the Russian Federation that are included in the Volga Federal District. Based on the analysis, taking into account the existing conditions and the results of the development of high-tech business, the leaders and outsiders of the region were identified. The strengths and weaknesses of individual subjects and the prospects for their further development were assessed, taking into account the region's specifics.
