The article is devoted to the most relevant measures of economic policy that do not require significant capital investments, but require persistent political will to implement them. It is about improving the efficiency of public administration and reducing institutional opportunities for corruption, strengthening the state budget by removing from the shadows a significant part of the economy, improving tax administration, increasing the collection of customs payments and payments to the Social Fund, eliminating unreasonable benefits provided to individual enterprises, more rational use state budget by improving the targeting of social budget items, increasing investment part of the budget, aimed primarily at maintaining and improving the existing national economic infrastructure. We hope that the article will be interesting and useful not only to officials and public figures responsible for the implementation of economic policy in the Kyrgyz Republic, but also to researchers, students and teachers in the field of social sciences.
