Abstract:

The article is devoted to the problems of development of sociological methods in the study of socio-economic phenomena and processes. The measurement problem is one of the key problems. Measurement errors arise at the stage of forming the system of observable variables (for example, when preparing a questionnaire), at the stage of converting them into numerical variables during the formation of databases, as well as at the stage of mathematical and statistical processing and data analysis, which can lead the researcher to incorrect scientific conclusions, not having connection with reality. To a certain extent, these problems can be solved through the use of modern analytical and information technologies in the collection, accumulation, storage and processing of empirical information. The article proposes the results of the study, which contain questions of developing ways to improve the correctness of the received sociological data based on the creation of a special automated information system. Automated information system is focused on improving the correctness of empirical data in the process of collecting and accumulating information, which allows continuous quality control of the collected information, the ability to correct data based on the operational analysis of information, and the possibility of wireless transmission of the collected data into a single database.
