Abstract:

The article deals with the modern goals of the development of сycling in the city. Based on the analysis of international experience in the development of bicycle infrastructure in large cities and experience in the development of bicycle infrastructure in Moscow, the assessment of the level of development of bicycle transport is given, the main directions of its development, providing increased mobility of citizens and increase the share of alternative environmentally friendly modes of movement in the city, are determined.
