Abstract:

The development of a model project for the development of rural areas on the basis of clustering of their economic activities remains an urgent problem of public authorities. To solve it, it is necessary to assess the prospects of formation and development of clusters of rural areas of the Volgograd region, which will allow them to move to sustainable socio-economic development. That in turn will lead to the achievement of the greatest economic effect and strengthen the economic viability of farms capable of a new innovative stage of development in the agricultural sector. The article analyzes some tools of cluster economic policy in the Volgograd region and directions of their development.
