The study presents the results of a survey of representatives of agricultural cooperatives of the Penza region, on the basis of which the authors substantiate the problems of development of small agribusiness. Particular attention is paid to the lack of information support of economic entities and the consequences of the influence of this factor on the activities of cooperatives. As an innovative approach to the organization of the information subsystem of the organizational and economic model of cooperation, the article proposes to consider the application of the concept of integrated logistics. In modern conditions, it is impossible to form a material flow with optimal financial costs without effective information flow. It is only within the framework of combining material, financial and information flows that it is possible to achieve the objective function of the cooperative – to increase the sustainability of its development by increasing the availability of information and the stability of financial flows. This view will be of interest to managers and specialists of agricultural consumer cooperatives, representatives of initiative groups, who wished to organize an agricultural cooperative, employees of district, regional and federal bodies of agribusiness management, as well as employees of consulting organizations, teachers and students of universities.
