Abstract:

The article presents the results of the study of the state and prospects of small business development in trade sphere in Russia in the context of institutional changes and globalization processes. The study revealed that small business in Russia continues to develop, but the growth rate of its development has significantly decreased; in the field of trade, the number of organizations decreases and the number of geographically separate enterprises of trade organizations increases, which leads to the concentration of the market of retail trade services and increased pressure on small business in the; there is an increase in the share of retail chains in retail turnover by reducing the share of markets and non-network enterprises owned by small businesses; the process of globalization in General, information and economic globalization have a positive impact on the development of small businesses, trade globalization hinders the development of small businesses.
