Abstract:

In this article the authors analyze the current state of small business in Russia, the main trends of its development. The role of trade in the development of small business in Russia is analyzed, the dynamics and structure of small trade business are considered. Among the main directions of increasing the competitiveness of small trade enterprises are defined such as the choice of the location of the trade enterprise, assortment management taking into account the specifics of small business, improving the quality of service, as well as the use of e-Commerce tools.
