In the article examines the possibilities of obligatory donation by Muslims - zakat, through the decision of social and economic problems of Kyrgyzstan where Muslims are the large share of the population. In a condition of the deficit budget, the State has to resort to loans, the main share of it are external loans. If we take into consideration that the large proportion of the country's population are Muslims, so correspondingly the large share of state transfer payments transmitted to them. With proceeds from zakat, it is possible to assign benefits to low-income and needy citizens of the country, along with state benefits, as well as to carry out various activities to improve the socio-economic climate in the country.
