Abstract:

The article is devoted to theoretical analysis of institutional problems arising in the process of developing and implementing public-private partnership projects related to underdevelopment of the domestic institutional field, including its formal component. The article is aimed at the study of interaction of institutions and institutional environments in relation to the process of public-private partnership from the economic theory perspective. As a working hypothesis we suggest that the impact of such components as the interests of financial and industrial elite, the level of trust in the society, the culture of contracts and the development of civil society have a significant impact on the specifics of the formation and implementation of partnerships.
