Abstract:

The article presents data on the volume of information flow, the founders of new magazines, geographic, sectoral, species structure, forms of distribution of journals and models of access to content. Conclusions about the introduction of scientific publishing in transition from traditional to electronic publications, characterized by partially overlapping flow of print and online publications, the mass migration of scientific information in open access, decentralization of the publishing activity.
