Abstract:

The article considers the development features of complex economic relations between South Korea and Central Asian countries. We give the list of regional and subregional priority directions in Seoul's economic strategies in five republics of the region. We show the essence of the approach of Korean investors to the dialogue and the search for new ways of interaction through equal partnership dialogue. We reveal the list of specific geographical points of the presence of Korean interests in the areas of Central Asian states. On the basis of the sources we show the specific position of Uzbek and Russian authors regarding the prospects for the growth of Korean influence in the states of the region taking into account the geostrategic map of Seoul's interests.
