Abstract:

In the article on the basis of the analysis of the theory and practice of modern economic policy in Russia, we formulate the contradiction of the current development stage, related to the gap between the need to bring in new growth and development factors and the ongoing inertial development with mainly commodity-orientated economy. We formulate the problem of the study and determine the object and purpose of the study. On the basis of statistical material about the level and dynamics of the development of the regional economy and innovative activity of the Krasnodar region we identify key problems in practices of re-industrialization and radicalization of innovations. We show that taking into account the world development trends and the potential and its competitive advantages in the development strategy for the period up to 2030, it is necessary to consider as a strategic goal the implementation of the policy of neo-industrialization with the formation of the knowledge-based economy sector and the development of the sixth technological order.
