The current conditions of functioning of industrial enterprises require solving a wide range of issues that determine the competitive position of business and its development strategy. Transformation of strategic goals of an industrial enterprise to an operational level of management includes solving the issues of optimal use of production capacity. The article proposes a model of industrial production capacity management based on the calculation of average production order. The model allows to optimize the capacity of production assets of enterprise and to identify the reserves for increasing the efficiency of their use.
