Abstract:

The concept and content of the philosophy of the lean higher education are developed. The functions, roles, and structural elements of the philosophy of the lean higher education have been studied. The higher education is considered as a benefit and specific type of service. The well-known lean manufacturing provisions in the lean higher education have been interpreted. The purpose of the article is to form and develop the philosophy of lean higher education and its structural elements. In order to achieve this goal the article solves the following tasks: we have carried out the search and analysis of publications on the lean higher education to confirm the relevance of the research provided in this article; we determined the concept, principles, and philosophy of the lean higher education; we described the functions and roles of the lean higher education; we described the content of structural elements of the philosophy of the lean higher education. The object of the article is the lean higher education. The subject of the article includes the concept, functions, roles, structure of the lean higher education.
