Abstract:

The article is devoted to the assessment of the uneven development of local food markets. We have determined specific features of functioning of regional local food markets. We have developed and tested methodological tools for the typologization of municipal formations by the level of retail trade development on local food markets. We have identified territories with lagging, balanced and leading development of local food markets taking into account regional polarization of economy of municipal formations. The paper will be useful for researchers engaged in the study of function and development of regional and local food markets.
