Abstract:

The article is devoted to the current issue of work motivation. According to the author, today this resource is the most effective resource under the conditions of the modern economic crisis, which the Russian economy is going through. The author analyses different motivation models, which were used in different historical periods. In this regard, the author offers the principles, which could help to solve the urgent problems of stimulating the work of employees and of increasing the economic efficiency of production.
