This monograph is dedicated to issues related to the peculiarities of cerebral electric activities in the conditions of cognitive processing of information. The author also discusses the presence of genotype-environmental determination of amplitude-time characteristics of event-related potentials and synchronous cortical activity. It has been revealed that amplitude-time characteristics of event-related auditory potentials reflect the development level of psychometric intelligence. As for coherence, it was found out that sensory processing is accompanied by strengthening of coherent connections between cerebral cortex zones situated far from each other in high-frequency rhythms of both hemispheres. At that, the best synchronization has been noted between parieto-temporal zones of cerebral cortex. And psychogenetic analysis has demonstrated that it is exactly synchronous activities at the level of septohippocampal formation that is strictly determined at activation of cognitive processes related to distinguishing and recognition of auditory stimuli, i.e. activization of the processes of attention and extraction of images from memory when solving perceptual tasks is genetically predetermined.
