The author explains theoretical and methodological grounds of the process of spiritual and moral culture formation among students in the multiethnic environment of secondary vocational education institutions through teaching the disciplines of the humanities. The article touches upon the main notions, components, criteria, levels of spiritual and moral culture of students, approaches enabling to plan the process of spiritual and moral culture formation through use of the possibilities of disciplines of the humanities that make the dialogue between different cultures possible. The model for spiritual and moral culture formation among students in the multiethnic environment of secondary vocational education institutions has been developed and pedagogical preconditions for the realization thereof have been explained.
