Abstract:

The authors disclose the questions of bibliometry in the system of related scientific disciplines, the rela-tionship of bibliometry with informetrica, scientometrics, webometric and cybermedia, application of methods of scientometrics and bibliometry, the impact factor, which is the special rating factor, which is based on the use of the citation index in solving information retrieval tasks.
