Abstract:

Rental housing is one of the most important factors of the economic development in the region: the higher the level of business activities is, the more is the demand for rental housing. The more developed rental housing, the more economically active population. The analysis of scientific works, collection of expert opinions and identification of tendencies of the rental housing market have enabled to formulate the key issues on the solution of which housing policy should lay emphasis in the short run. The research results may be of interest for public authorities and professional market participants engaged in the implementation of rental housing projects.
