Abstract:

A stable competitive position of an enterprise is the keystone of its success. When developing a strategy, it is necessary to estimate prospective competitors and the enterprise’s place in the industry. Porter’s model can be used to define the impact of driving forces on the enterprise. To identify the main competitors, it is advisable to use the ABC analysis and competitive triangle. These strategic analysis tools can serve as a basis to define an enterprise’s competitive positions for further design of its development strategy.
