Abstract:

The article analyzes the basic methodological postulates and challenges of measuring input-output balance indicators in constant prices. The author makes an attempt to develop and study the method for building deflators to obtain the input–output balance indexes in buyers’ prices, base prices, and producer prices. In conclusion, he marks the importance of this task determined by a significant practical and functional potential of realization of the method by statistics offices and expert organizations operating in the field of macroeconomic statistics and national accounts.
