Abstract:

The article is dedicated to the issues of harmonization of legal protection of intellectual property in the Member States of the Eurasian Union. The authors review criminal and civil laws of the Member States as for the protection of intellectual property rights. The authors come to the conclusion that thesis "for economic crimes - economic punishment" is just. At the same time, the authors discuss the experience of the European Union, system of institutions of this international organization that ensure the protection of intellectual property rights. Based on the best practices, authors conclude that there is a need to increase the role of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Union Court in the field of protection of intellectual property rights.
