Abstract:
This authors analyze the impact of trade terms on the Russian citizens’ salary level in the 2000s. It has been shown that the improvement of trade terms during the period from the early to mid-2000s has led to a significant increase in salaries and greater salary inequality. Considering the current economic situation, the authors draw a conclusion that, despite the worsening of trade terms in 2014-2015, salary inequality will continue to increase due to the asymmetrical influence of the trade terms.
