Innovative development of production, introduction of new technologies, upgrading, changes in skill requirements, anti-crisis measures, and growing differentiation of consumer preferences give rise to the need to find ways to improve the efficiency of economic entities, both through the existing physical (tangible) potential, and through the intellectual (intangible) potential. As part of the study we determined strategies for development, build-up and use of intellectual forces in the strategic development of enterprises as the possibility to maintain a competitive market position. The proposed strategies may be used in the development of corporate strategy.
