The author discusses public-private partnership as an alternative to budget-funded health-care system, describes the experience of shared use of private investments and public funds. The article also dwells upon the development stages of public-private partnership as a social institution in foreign countries. Finally, the author substantiates the necessity to introduce public-private partnerships in the domestic economy, taking into account the specific features of the development and activity levels of different sectors and spheres of national economy.
